Getting Started
TileBack is a form backend service designed for static websites. It allows you to add functional contact forms, newsletter signups, and other form functionality to your static sites without writing server-side code.
Simply point your HTML form to your unique TileBack endpoint, and we handle form submissions, spam filtering, email notifications, and data storage.
Getting started takes less than 90 seconds:
- Sign up for a free account
- Create your first form and get your unique endpoint URL
- Add the endpoint URL to your HTML form's
actionattribute - That's it! Form submissions will appear in your dashboard
Basic HTML knowledge is all you need. If you can create an HTML form with an action attribute, you can use TileBack. No server-side coding, database setup, or complex configuration required.
Forms & Submissions
It depends on your plan:
- Free: 1 form
- Starter ($9/mo): 5 forms
- Pro ($29/mo): Unlimited forms
Submission limits are monthly and depend on your plan:
- Free: 100 submissions/month
- Starter: 500 submissions/month
- Pro: Unlimited submissions
Submission counts reset on the first day of each month.
Yes! You can export your submissions in CSV or JSON format directly from your dashboard. This feature is available on all plans, including Free - it's your data, you should always have access to it.
Data retention varies by plan:
- Free: 30 days data retention
- Starter: 90 days data retention
- Pro: 1 year data retention
You can export your data at any time before it expires. We recommend setting up regular exports if you need longer-term storage.
TileBack uses multiple layers of automated spam protection to keep unwanted submissions out of your inbox. Our system analyzes submissions using various techniques including behavioral patterns, content analysis, and rate limiting.
Spam submissions are automatically flagged and won't trigger email notifications. You can still view flagged submissions in your dashboard if needed, and you can manually mark submissions as spam or not spam to help improve accuracy.
Pricing & Billing
Yes! The Free plan is free forever with no credit card required. You get 1 form and 100 submissions per month at no cost. Perfect for personal projects, portfolios, or small sites.
Yes, you can change your plan at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, you'll be charged a prorated amount. When downgrading, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment processor. This includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.
Security & Privacy
Yes, security is our top priority:
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt
- Database encryption for sensitive data

Yes, TileBack is fully GDPR compliant. We provide data portability (export your data anytime), the right to deletion, and transparent data handling practices. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Absolutely. You can delete individual submissions from your dashboard at any time. To delete all your data, you can close your account from account settings. All data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Yes, email verification is required to activate your account. After signing up, you'll receive a verification email with a confirmation link. Click the link to verify your email address and start using TileBack.
If you don't receive the verification email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or request a new verification email from your account settings.

TileBack works with any platform that supports HTML forms:
- Static site generators (Jekyll, Hugo, Eleventy, Gatsby)
- Website builders (Webflow, Carrd, Squarespace)
- CDN-hosted sites (Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Pages)
- Any HTML page - even local files!
Yes! You can set a custom redirect URL in your form settings, or include a hidden _redirect field in your form to specify where users should go after submitting.
File uploads are currently in beta. We're rolling out this feature gradually to ensure reliability and performance.
File upload support will be available on Starter and Pro plans (Free plans are limited to text-only form fields). Need file uploads now? Talk to our sales team about early access to the beta.
A REST API is planned for a future release. Currently, all users can export their form data via CSV or JSON format directly from the dashboard. This allows you to download and use your data in any system or workflow.
